Napa Valley College invites proposals to provide meals for residents of River Trail Village. NVC plans to provide 100 meals per day Monday through Thursday every week for two, 16-week semesters beginning August 24, 2026.
- Deliveries must be made to Building 3, River Trail Village at Napa Valley College, 100 Magnolia Avenue, Napa, CA 94558 at 4:45 PM.
- The quantity needed daily is 100 meals (80 regular, 10 vegetarian, 5 vegan, 5 gluten-free – or similar).
- Meals must be fully prepared, individually sealed, and labeled.
- Microwaveable containers are required, as approximately 50% of meals will be stored for later pickup.
- All meals must adhere to CalCode standards including but not limited to:
- Proper temperature control during preparation and transportation, as our facility does not offer temperature regulation during the hour of service.
- Hot foods must be at 135°F or above, and cold foods at 41°F or below until delivery to our facility.
- Meals labeled with ingredients and allergen information.
- Safe transport and handling practices to avoid contamination.
- Inclusion of dietary alternatives (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free).
- At least 50% of meals should not include pork (for religious reasons or personal preferences of our students).
- Variety in menu offerings (not the same meal every week)
A minimum proposal of 50 meals delivered one day per week is preferred.
We will also require; a Certificate of Insurance endorsing Napa Valley College, a copy of a health Inspection certificate with grade, and a copy of your Permit to Operate issued in Napa County.

To support your success, NVC will be providing dinners at 5 pm, Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, 8/25/2025.
