Representative Appointment Information

Not sure where to start?

Let's begin with an appointment.

Lifting as We Climb

Transfer begins with a conversation. Whether you're meeting with a counselor to plan your academic path or speaking with a university representative to explore your next destination, each appointment helps you move forward with clarity and purpose.

These conversations are designed to guide your next steps—not just answer questions. As you gain direction and confidence in your transfer journey, you also help open doors for others who will follow.

At Napa Valley College, we lift as we climb—one conversation, one student, one transfer goal at a time.

General Counseling

Meeting with a counselor is one of the best ways to stay on track for transfer. Counselors can help you develop an educational plan, understand transfer requirements, select courses, and explore university options that align with your goals. Students are encouraged to meet with a counselor regularly, especially before registration and when preparing to transfer.

You can self-schedule counseling appointments online or connect with our front office for assistance. Appointments are conducted in-person, online, or by phone.

The Transfer Center provides non-academic transfer support and resources. For assistance with transfer planning, course selection, and ensuring you are meeting transfer requirements, please meet with a counselor through the General Counseling Department. Use the link below to schedule an appointment.

College and University Representatives

Connect directly with admissions representatives from colleges and universities to learn more about transferring. Representatives can answer questions about admissions requirements, majors, campus life, financial aid, scholarships, housing, and other campus-specific opportunities.

Students are encouraged to meet with representatives early in the transfer process and again as they prepare to apply. These appointments can help you compare universities, learn about transfer programs, and make informed decisions about your next steps.
